However, the manufacturing process can vary considerably and can differentiate who has the "greenest" product since the process of making the tile can be harmful to the environment. Dal-Tile, one of our premiere tile partners, is a leader in the industry of incorporating environmentally-friendly materials and processes. For example, scrap tile generated during Dal-Tile's manufacturing processes is recycled to the maximum extent possible into new tile products. Also their manufacturing operations utilize natural gas as an energy source. No fuel oils or coals are utilized in our processes; therefore, using this clean burning natural resource minimizes air emissions. |
