Installation Crews:

Position Type: Contract

Compensation: $38.75+

Our Builder Division is in need of Flooring Installation Professionals at prevailing wage rates ($38.75 and up) for new construction apartment projects. Materials are delivered to the job-site saving you time and money. Competitive weekly pay with no hold-backs. Liability insurance required. Sole Proprietors with minimum 2 years’ experience.

Retail Flooring Sales Associate:

If you have excellent selling, communication, computer and people skills, then we have an opportunity for you. Start as a salaried associate helping maintain the showroom and helping clients with their flooring needs in our state-of-the-art showroom and earn while you learn our products and procedures. As you progress, you will earn a monthly bonus based on sales and when you are ready, you will move into our commission-based sales structure. Our support takes most of the operational burden off your shoulders, allowing you to do what you do best: selling!

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday. Saturdays are required on a rotating basis.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Exceptional people skills required

Flooring Service Technician:

Position Type: Full or Part-Time

Inspection and repair of flooring installations including carpet, hardwood, vinyl and ceramic. Working with builders and homeowners to address their concerns and resolve manufacturing and installation defects. Must be able to perform minor repairs such as carpet reattach, board replacement, installing trims etc. Daily routes planned in advance, documentation of issues including reports and photographs required. Ability to work well with people from all walks of life and maintain a positive attitude required. Consulting with installers on jobs in progress to address lay out or quality issues. Jobs are located thru out the greater Detroit area. This job could be full or part time depending on your desire, Ideal position for installers looking to cut back on the physical demands of flooring installation.

Hardwood Floor Installers:

Position Type: Contract

Compensation: Relative to the complexity of the installation, piece work

Riemer floors has contracts with large national and regional builder accounts throughout the tri county area. We are expanding and are in need of hardwood flooring installers of all types. Nail down of prefinished and unfinished hardwood flooring. Riemer delivers the materials to the job site, saving you time and money. Your location is taken into consideration for jobs saving you travel time and expense. Weekly pay periods, computerized billing and scheduling allow you know what your work load is two weeks in advance. Part time positions available. We Email or fax your work orders and billing. Weekly pay periods with no hold backs. Rates are competitive and we take the hassle out of the business. 

Liability and workmens comp insurance is required as well as reliable transportation. Minimum of a two man crew is preferred.

Carpet Installation Crews:

Position Type: Contract

Compensation: Relative to the complexity of the installation, piece work

Carpet installation craftsmen needed to service Oakland county residential customers. Must be able to install wiltons and axminster carpets as well as traditional tufted materials. Computer aided scheduling allows us to maximize your earning power and offer flexibility as needed. Material cut and in most cases delivered to the job site saving you time and money. Additional pay if you pick up material or return scrap from the job site. Jobs scheduled with your location in mind to minimize travel time and expense. Weekly pay period with no hold back. Must have a minimum of two man crew, workman's comp and liability insurance required. Installation certification a plus.
