Retail Sales Team Associate

Position Overview:
The Retail Sales Associate is critical in driving the growth and profitability of the Retail Sales Team at Riemer Flooring. This individual is responsible for proactively delivering on their sales plan, providing exceptional client experience, and meeting or exceeding sales and margin improvement targets. Effective use of the CRM system and meticulous execution of the sales plan are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth and Client Management:

  • Actively grow and manage closing retail client opportunities to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop a strong referral client base and collaborate with team members across KSI FOBs by sharing potential leads for products beyond flooring, fostering repeat business and mutual referrals.

Lead and Deal Management:

  • Promptly follow up on new leads and opportunities to ensure timely engagement with prospective clients.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with leads and clients throughout the sales process to build trust and confidence.
  • Utilize the CRM system to prioritize, track, and manage all active deals and prospects.

Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Provide outstanding service by addressing client needs with professionalism and expertise.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations in the showroom or at clients’ homes to ensure tailored solutions.

Sales Execution and Profitability:

  • Prepare accurate quotes, ensure order accuracy, and efficiently enter orders into the system.
  • Drive margin improvement by strategically recommending products and optimizing pricing.

CRM Utilization:

  • Effectively use the CRM system to execute sales plans, manage client interactions, and track progress against goals.

Product Expertise:

  • Stay updated on flooring products, market trends, and industry best practices through ongoing training and research.

Showroom Support:

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment for clients.

Client Consultations:

  • Assist clients in making informed product selections based on their needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Perform in-home visits to conduct measurements and scope projects accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
  • Proven background in flooring material sales and service, with a focus on carpet, hardwood, and other related products.
  • Experience in take-offs, estimating, and using RFMS or similar software is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work some Saturdays and extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Flexibility to travel and meet with clients on-site and attend trade-related networking events.

Performance Metrics

  • Achievement of monthly sales and gross profit margin targets.
  • CRM system utilization and accuracy in logging sales activities.
  • Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.

Flooring Service Technician

Flooring Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Flooring Service Technician to perform assessment, repair, and maintenance services on various flooring types, including hardwood, carpet, tile, and vinyl. This position requires a customer-focused individual who can troubleshoot, assess, and resolve flooring issues effectively while delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain flooring systems, including hardwood, carpet, vinyl, and tile.
  • Assess damage and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.
  • Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate installation.
  • Prepare and clean jobsite before and after servicing.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Provide accurate assessment and updates to office team members and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and management to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Flooring Service Technician, Installer or in a related field (at least 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of different types of flooring and installation methods.
  • Ability to work with various tools and equipment used in flooring installation and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, work orders, and flooring specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license. Company vehicle opportunity.
